Mechanic - Buffalo (multiple positions)

Position Responsibilities
Disassemble and install major and minor electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components and sub-assemblies requiring precision fits and alignments when required. Perform detailed diagnostic and trouble shooting functions for all vehicle systems such as drive train components (engines, transmissions, axles, steering mechanism) at the sub unit level, electrical, air conditioning, brake systems, etc. Ability to lead, instruct and train less senior mechanics and assemblers, etc.


Position Requirements
U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or college degree preferred, ASE certification a plus. In lieu of a U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent, acceptable Work Keys score is required. Must have 3 years of proven experience on mobile vehicles such as heavy trucks, mobile cranes, backhoes, skid steer loaders, etc. agriculture vehicles, construction equipment. Can include OEM and maintenance repair experience.
Requires basic knowledge of all phases of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, the ability to read and understand blue prints, technical schematics. Employee will be required to work in a team environment and must demonstrate a safety conscious manner compliant with the company’s safety processes.

-Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays and any shift if required. Position may require travel periodically.
-Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
-Supports the aim of the Manufacturing Systems.
