Force Protection Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of ballistic and blast protected vehicles, is delighted to have crossed the pond and set up a European counterpart to its highly successful US business. Located in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, Force Protection Europe (FPE) is an emerging force in the UK defense industry. Our objectives are clear: Support UK armed forces with the most cutting edge survivability solutions available. And the launch of our Ocelot light protected patrol vehicle, which is designed and built entirely in the UK, is evidence of our commitment.

The Ocelot represents an important expansion of the Force Protection capability into the light protected patrol vehicle sector. At the same time we are firmly focused on supplying and supporting our existing Mastiff, Ridgback and Buffalo vehicles, via Integrated Survivability Technologies (IST) - our joint venture with NP Aerospace. These vehicles are helping protect British forces in theatre and will soon be joined by the Wolfhound Tactical Support Vehicle.

FPE is currently providing the following capabilities for the European market:
  • Local Design Authority for all Force Protection base vehicles
  • Locally sourced spare parts provision
  • Manages own team of UK national FPE Field Service Representatives
  • Develops and supports the Karrus Management Information System
