Sir,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, as our rotation end nears, for the support that we have received with our JERRVs.

The support that your field service representative provides us is unequalled as we are conducting combat operations in Southern Afghanistan and around Kandahar. He is a member of our unit in the truest sense of the word, and has provided amazing assistance to us, no matter what the requirement is, or the time of day or night. Once we receive parts to fix damaged vehicles, his efforts to get the vehicles operational again is amazing. I can not describe both the quality of workmanship he provides to us keeping our vehicles combat ready.

I feel fortunate that we have your JERRVs for my guys. I have six of my troops that are working for me right now that have been involved in an IED or landmine strike. I did not have to suffer the agony of a ramp ceremony as their remains were shipped home. For this, you and your company will forever be in my debt.

If there is anything I can ever do for anyone in your company, please do not hesitate to ask. I am a firefighter in San Antonio and our shops have a sign at the entrance to their repair bays which reads, “We may not be the pride, but without us, the pride doesn’t ride”. While your guys and vehicles aren’t defusing the IEDs and mines, they are helping insure that my guys come home from every mission, and I truly believe that your staff and vehicles are also heroes in this war.
